Catherine Andorka began her writing career in 1979, after receiving a speeding ticket.
(In her opinion, undeserved.) The poem she authored lamenting the injustice of the justice
system served her well, both in the courtroom and later, when it was published in her local newspaper.
She graduated from poetry to writing short story fiction and non-fiction. Eventually she went on to
become the Editor-in-Chief of the Weddingpages Bride and Home Magazine (Chicago Edition).
These days, Catherine is devoting her working hours to various types of book length fiction. She is a
member of Romance Writers of America and belongs to the Chicago North Chapter. Since she is a
romantic at heart, the romance genre is the perfect venue for her to create characters who inspire
reader's fantasies.
Catherine and her husband live in a Chicagoland suburb, close to their daughter and son-in-law.
"Once Upon a Secret" is Catherine's first published novel, though
she has plans for many more.
